Meet Cynthia

Ms. Sorey always believed that to be a good leader is to mentor and facilitate growth and success in others. During her educational career she embodied this practice in both example and deed. In her past roles as an administrator, she was able to foster teacher growth and student achievement.

 

The past few years have allowed her to support educators in collaboration and effectiveness through mentoring and instructional guidance.

 

Prior to her administrative role she served as a district mathematics specialist and coach, she gained extensive training in writing curriculum and assessment, data analysis, coaching personnel, culturally responsive pedagogy and working with multiple schools with diverse populations and demographics.

 

Teaching is the lifeblood of education and education is the key to success. We must support our teachers from day one. Our children and the future depend on it.
